Country Crust Bread

Is there anything better than fresh bread?  Or fresh bread with some butter? Maybe you're a cinnamon and sugar person.

Here's our favorite bread recipe. It is easy to make and delicious. And the crust... The crust is the best part!

... laugh if you must at the shape of my bread. I try to make it look nice but they always come out looking kind of funny!
Country Crust Bread

Makes 2 loaves

2 pkgs dry yeast
2 cups warm water
1/2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp salt
1/4 cup oil
6-61/2 cups flour

Sprinkle yeast in warm water and let sit for about 10 minutes. Gently stir and combine with wet ingredients in mixing bowl. Gradually add dry ingredients. Beat until smooth. Beat with dough hook on medium speed 8 to 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl, turn greased side up, cover and rise one hour. Punch down, divided in half, roll each half into and 9 x 18 rectangle. Roll up tightly beginning at 9 inch and. Press and with hands to seal. Fold under. Place seam side down in buttered loaf pan. Let rise one hour. Bake in 375° oven for 30 minutes. Brush with butter.
